Working as a community group

Here is our ‘Best Community Group‘ video for the Craven Community Champions awards 2017.

Shaz and Sarah, two of our committee members, discuss some of the things we got up to last year, and how we build relationships with other groups to spread our message and importantly raise funds for our current project.

We meet monthly over the warmer months of the year, but stay in touch regularly to exchange ideas and discuss plans and our successes. We publish when our open meetings are coming up via our email list, facebook page and twitter. Please sign up and follow us if you would like to keep in touch. If you are interested in Aireville Park, and helping us realise our ambition to build a play park more fitting for the families (younger and older children) in and around Skipton, and of course our visitors, then you are welcome to come along.

Here you see us meeting with our link contact at Craven District Council, Bruce Dinsmore and reviewing the new plans for the play park for the first time. That was an exciting evening for us when we could see we were one step closer to the park we are working together for.
